Today's Guest: Emily Bristow, NaNo Expert

Q: Emily, as a sixth-year ML for Austin, Texas and NaNo's Captain of

Purple outbreak!

So many winners!

We're seeing purple bars all over the site. So cool! Our limited-edition 2009 Winner's shirts are now in the store. My final NaNoWriMo pep talk will be going out in a few hours.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed to yesterday's Donation Day fundraising drive. We raised over $70,000 in donations, a single-day record for us! We just added all the merch sales from the past couple days and all the money we raised from the Night of Writing Dangerously to the Fund-o-Meter, and those books are lighting up!

We still have a lot of money to raise before we're able to put on NaNoWriMo and the Young Writers Program in 2010, though, and hope that all of our winners will chip in something to help us get there!

Raising a coffee-mug salute in your direction,

Chris
