Brief Author Bio:

I've always wanted to finish a story of substantial size. Write now I'm an assistant language teacher of English in Japan. Writing every day during downtime at work and when I get home to make the daily minimum.

Synopsis: The Flying Stone

An adventurer makes regular departures from his homeland where everything is neat and orderly, and horribly uninteresting, trekking into the wild unexplored areas of the world. He comes back with a device that lets him fly a small ship into the clouds. He uses this to cross the nether ocean, a feat never before accomplished. There he finds a land more wild and chaotic than any of the savage jungles or desert plains he'd ever traversed before.

Excerpt: The Flying Stone

"The sails were flapping hard in the rushing winds and he realized how much more dangerous it was to be in a flying ship during an ocean storm than a sailing ship. The lighting arced from mast to mast and he could smell the timbers of the wood charring. As quickly as he could Alexander wrapped the sails around the masts with their rigging, like he would've during a bad storm on the water. But as he did so the ship became quickly unsteady, even more so than when the storm winds were tearing at the fabric."
