Brief Author Bio:

I've been interested in writing ever since I was in elementary school, writing short stories that were spin-offs of favorites like Harry Potter, or even just writing little tales about rocket ships flying to the moon or alien planets.

In early 2006, I launched a series of Stargate fan-fiction stories on my old website, accumulating a small fan base of almost a dozen people. Needless to say, I was pretty stoked for that. And my love for novels only grew from there with more reading a writing.

But it wasn't until I saw the show 30Rock (Tina Fey) in 2007 that I really became interested in screenwriting. The show basically followed the wacky life of Liz Lemon as she worked as a comedy sketch writer for an NBC variety show. Although the show was utterly ridiculous and hilarious at the same time, it was Liz Lemon's occupation that really intrigued me. That was when I began to wonder how television was made. So I came across screenplays and teleplays and spent about a year working on a screenplay of my own, still learning proper grammar and storytelling.

After about two or three years of script writing and novel writing, I became the writer I am today. I aspire to be three things when I am older: a film director, a screenwriter (both of these I'd like to use for TV and movies) and a novelist.

I am not an articulate speaker, and writing has become somewhat of a Godsend for me, allowing to voice my opinions of philosophy, science, religion, ethics and so on in a more poetic and detailed manner.

Synopsis: Awakening (Working Title)

Centuries from now a fleet of civilian spaceships and one warship will make a blind jump to faster-than-light speed from a planet named Hera, orbiting Epsilon Eridani 10 light years from here, as it is destroyed. They will come out of their FTL jump and realize that they are in an unexplored part of the galaxy, past the United Nations designated red-line.

As this lost fleet tries to find its way home, it will encounter a group of nine aliens, who look just like humans, who claim to have been the gods of ancient Earth. This lost fleet will fight against these self-proclaimed gods in an attempt to save Earth from enslavement and eventual destruction. In the process, this fleet will learn a great deal of Earth's ancient history, including the fact that humanity did not begin on Earth, but was led here by a powerful entity named Omni.

PROLOGUE

Were we born on Earth? Was humanity the most dominant species to ever originate from the Fertile Crescent? Or are we just an assimilation of what arose from the birthplace of Earth’s humanity, and some sort of ancient alien astronauts who once visited our world? Perhaps these astronauts stayed behind. Maybe the missing link between our evolutionary points is the introduction of the DNA of these ancient spacers.
