Hi Shawn,
I too live in the Borderlands, in Athol. I'm a relocated Bostonian and I attend college part time at Greenfield Community College. Central Mass always feels like the borderlands; I'm out in Greenfield twice a week, but Gardner is just down the road. It's an interesting dynamic. I've never done this, but it sounds like great fun. Good luck and let me know if there is a meetup. I'll try to come along.
