What are you going to do to reward yourself?
Incremental for word counts? The FINAL reward?
Last year I got myself a Beaine Bear for every 10 000 words. ANd since there were 7 I wanted,... heh..
I think I might do the same this year. ANd perhaps an excercise bike as a FINAL reward! YES! Congratulations! here is a torture device!
Ah ha...
Perhaps a different kind of cookie each week?

I've wondered this. Last year I remember planning a reward and not giving it to myself. So this year i REALLY want to make it worth it but I just can't think of anything... So far I have all the dvd's I want, and the ones that release in November I'll buy anyway. So I'm a bit lost.

Well since I had my little girl about six months ago, I haven't had
much time to myself for writing. So my reward is in fact to be doing NaNoWriMo, because
when I'm feeling inspired I'll be like, "Here!" and thrust the baby into hubby's arms while I
disappear for an hour or two. And then I'll have the peaceful relaxation of time to myself
knowing the baby is being looked after. Woohoo! November here we come!
And perhaps a cookie or three (my fave are Caramel Crowns, they're like a whole
packet of twix)

I think if I give myself a reward, it'll be at the 50,000 word mark. Otherwise I'll be distracted by said reward and not finish.
Maybe a new book. New as in from a bookstore new, rather than new as in the second hand Ian Rankin novel I bought this morning at Federation Square and then left on the train. Sigh.
Or maybe I'll break down and buy a DVD player. And Howl's Moving Castle to watch on it.

God, Guildwars is my crack. I would drag myself over broken glass for an hour of guildwars. (Sad I know).
However I also have a 'if I reach my daily word goal and get everything else on my to do list (see uni assignments) done, then I can play as long as I like' rule.
Today that goal is 7k total. 1300 more words.... and another 1000 words of this ruddy assignment. Pain.
