So...Monday night? Is Sunday afternoon/evening sacrosanct? Any other suggestions that are not Wednesday or Thursday nights?

As for where, I'm good for anything in about a 25-minute radius, which from S. Deerfield includes, notably, Amherst, Hadley, Northampton, Greenfield, Turners Falls. I'm willing to drive a little farther to somewhere my dog can come along and sit on my feet while I write, though I doubt that place exists.

Key features:
-plugs available
-loiter-friendly
-decently late hours (open until at least 10)
-cheap caffeine
-wireless internet a plus (or is it?)

My vote is for Monday night over Sunday night - I prefer to keep my weekends as free as possible, especially during NaNo.

And as for where, my suggestions are:

- Panera in Hadley (tasty food, free refills on coffee, free wireless (which is DEFINITELY a plus) plenty of light and space and not too noisy),
- Haymarket (tasty food, more character, more central for people coming from further south, and also free wireless, although as I think I said before, it's flaky at times)
- Amherst Coffee (nice big tables and a wine bar!)

I honestly I think I prefer Panera of those three, as much as I love supporting the local guys. But maybe someone else will have another good idea.

A.

Monday nights at Panera sound good to me, so if we do that I'll be there. I'm still hoping to get a couple meetings in Easthampton though, so I dont have to travel all the time. As my car just died on me I'm pretty much depending on family and the bus for transportation until I can get a new one.

After the number of words I was able to write at Panara last year, I'm definitely a fan!

Count me in for Mondays at Panara :)

Monday at Panera it is! I will be there, and I think that celestialblender has said Monday would be best for her as well. I may also have another person or two in tow if I can rope them in.

By then I hope to have at least 7500 words written (eep!)

I tend to find these meetups productive, so depending on how things are going, I may try to make the monday one as well.

I like Haymarket, too, but it sounds as though there's a concern about closing time there.

I'm planning on getting there in the 7 PM range, but it sounds like kysandra will likely be there earlier because it's between work and home.

I tend to arrive sometime mid afternoon. Definitely after the lunch crowd though.

It is Monday evening at 5:49, and I am sitting in the back room of Panera with my trusty powerbook. I'm wearing my red writing beret (even though I won't start actually writing until I finish my dinner).
