I see that we have 43 Indian affiliates. Anybody else from Kerala, other than me?

Me, me! I'm in Kottayam. I just signed up today. I have no ideas whatsoever what I'm going to write about, or even where I'll find the time.
Where are you?

I'm from Cochin, presently in Abu Dhabi. I'm that ubiquitous creature, the NRK (Non-Resident Keralite).

How are you going to find time to write? Do you know how long 2,000 words takes you to write, roughly? I am trying to estimate, but really I'll have no idea until I get going. I'm not particularly fast, though, for sure.
Knowing that someone somewhere knows that I am attempting this feat will help to keep me going when I feel like giving up, I hope :o)
Good luck...

The million dollar question!
Just let yourself go. That's what I'm going to do!
I don't know if and when I'll reach my destination, but I'm going to enjoy the journey!
Cheers

I'm originally from Goa and residing in Canada. Does it count to be not far from Kerala and the fact that I've visited Trivandrum and Kovalam Beach?
Anyway, the setting for my novel in Goa - the beaches of course. I had a pretty good synopsis but did I have an outline? NO! So, now, I struggle. I move from this scene to that. My characters are annoying. I've got 10,000 words left to write and haven't even introduced the MC's love goddess. Man!
Thanks for letting me vent. Anyway, writing about India is making me think of the place I left a long long time ago.
