Who all would be around and/or interested in a meet up in Regina at some point? So far it's myself and Nana here and we're feeling only marginally cowed by the Saskatoon:Regina ratio. Is there anyone else around here besides just the two of us?

Although it's a lot of fun claiming that Regina had a meetup, and we all wound up sleeping over at my place. And 50% of the participants found a good plot for their novel this year.

Come on! I'll have to make some "JOIN NANOWRIMO" posters to put up around the University. :] There's got to be more people than this.

Hey! Three people now! This might mean we have to actually plan out a real meeting now, as opposed to just hanging out at Nana's house. Welcome aboard!

Hey, hey! We can still hang out at my place. :] Especially on the long weekend!

I'll be in Regina on the long weekend! I won't be available Sat. Nov. 10 after 3 pm, but I should be free all morning and early afternoon. I think we'll be heading back to Toon Town on Sunday...

If a meet-up of sorts gets arranged maybe Raicara could give me some swag to pass along to the Regina writers.

I'm in Regina too, and I'd love to add a social life to my ever-growing list of things to do this month!

It's my first NaNo. I'm nervous and excited.

Okay! Are any dates and times especially good for you guys? I live around Southland, so that's very easy for me to access, but so is the University.

I'm in Regina, just by the University, and I work downtownish. I'm pretty booked up until the election, sadly - but I do have nov 6 off! (I just don't know my schedule after that yet but I'm assuming I have the long weekend off, at least part of it.)

I don't drive but I do have a pretty handy little bus pass!

Okay, great! I don't have a car, either, so the bus is my life. I don't have classes on Tuesdays or Thursdays, so the 6th is free for me too. :]

Is anyone getting together on this Saturday (today)? I'm travelling in from Moosomin and thought if there was something going on I'd like to join in. I might have my daughter with me, but she's keen on Dad's new novel and is asking me where I'm at every couple of hours.

Regardless, would like to meet some of you.

Cheers.

I don't think there's anything going on. At least, not that I know. Nana is kind of the "unofficial" Municipal Liason for Regina and I was volunteered (read: forced) to help her and we haven't made any plans for anything. Nevermind I'm in Moosomin now. Good timing.

I think we could probably plan something for next weekend, though, if you've got a chance of making it up then. I'm probably going to be living at her house all weekend so plan making will be easier.

Nana? What do you think?

Unfortunately, I'll be in Edmonton next weekend. Regardless, we're supposed to meet on Sunday at 3 p.m. I'm still available for that.

I work 10-5 or 10-6 today (I never usually work before 4pm!), so I'm probably not up for a NaNo meeting today. *kicks work*

Also from Regina here. If we don't already have a meeting place, might I suggest the Exotic Coffee on.... some street?

Okay! There's an idea, then. :]

Saturday, November 10th, at Exotic Coffee World Roasting House (2275 Broad Street).

Does that work for everyone?

I was hoping that you'd be there, too, so what time are you available until? I'm not a super early morning person, but you also mentioned that you'd be free until the afternoon.

I can be there Saturday. Ooo Ooo I have Tuesday, and then Thursday through Monday off, if anyone wants to get together any of those days. :D

Maybe 11, just to be contrary, no? Ten is too early for a Saturday (yes, yes, I sleep in, so sue me) and noon would be right at lunch time. So if we hop in at 11 we'll be there before the lunch rush but I get extra time to sleep/get ready.

11 sounds great... However my bf is tired and indecisive today and now thinking of going on Saturday... I hope to win him over by Friday...

Dude, people who said they may or may not show up and didn't. The Saturday was totally fun. I hope that you all show up for our next meeting. No. Really. You had better. *Shakes fist*

Shall we try to schedule another one for this coming Saturday or Sunday? Hopefully at some point during the afternoon? If we go to the same place, it turns out it doesn't really matter what time we're there at since it's either empty already or we scare everyone else off.

Sound like a plan for anyone?
