Right on! I'll get the ball rolling, I suppose!
I was chatting with some of you at the meet-up about the Superdickery site, which archives a collection of old comic book panels and covers that appear completely stupid, ridiculous or downright scandalous to us nowadays, complete with humourous commentary. I recommend the "Seduction of the Innocent" gallery, but there are many great galleries to browse. You know, if you feel inclined to use up an entire afternoon.

Enjoy!

I don't quite recall who brought it up, but a nifty self-publishing/printing/stuff website called lulu.com was mentioned.

Upon further consideration, I *think* it may have been Darusha... Then again, most of that meeting was a pleasant blur to me.

I saw this Cyanide and Happiness comic, and was reminded of a particularly interesting conversation we had about 2 Sunday meetings ago.

Fishing with John:
I got some details wrong (Tom Waits was in Jamaica and it was Jim Jarmusch not Jonathan Demme), but here's the first part of the Tom Waits episode (links to the rest of the eps. are in the sidebar) via YouTube.
