I started pounding at the keyboard at 00:01 and managed 706 words in 45 minutes! Hurray!
That's a good start. Will write more after work tomorrow (today, that is).

I managed to get 1827 in my morning session, hoping to do about as much in my evening session. I'm feeling good, but my inner editor is rampaging all over the place. I kept rereading and tweaking from the beginning every time I got momentarily stuck. This will not do!

Look, if it doesn't stop you from writing altogether, there's no harm done. After all, we still have to get to know our stories and characters.
Try to ban your IE to the Nano-kennels, but don't get stalled if you can't quite get it there. Just stop up your ears with cottonwool and ignore what it screams. ;-)
I stayed up last night to open my Nano-file and wrote 330 words in it before I conked out.
Now I'm @ WC 1895.

I know now what you mean about the IE, as i start with 900 words, and then decided to enlarge it, felt that i need more, delete some that seemed to be out of place.
Jumped in between to add more, i have till 23:59 to add more...

Two days I managed to finish the 1667 words limit, But I'm terrified to find out what will happen when the weekend will end!
I thought I'll manage so much more.
My IE is unhappy with all the mistakes, but he keeps quite, so I'll survive.
I keep getting stuck, not knowing what to do next, and I Haven't yet got reed of all the small characters, which make me fear that I won't stand the writing of just to figures...
Well, whatever happens next, I still broke my personal record on story length, and I believe It's coming out all right.
