You know, I watched the 2007 movie last night and all these ideas started floating into my head, so ive come up with what I think could be a great sequel to the movie, but I already had an entirely original novel planned out as well and now im stuck between the two of these great things and I dont know what to do.
Anyone else out there doing Transformers fanfic
or anyone got any good advice
cheers
Cameron

Sweet! Welcome to the game of playing with giant f**n robots!
XD
Sorry...caffeine just kicked in.
Mine is an exploration of a life-bond (if you could call it that between Meg and Optimus. I figured why not. They argue like an old married couple anyway, albeit, an old married couple with access to weapons of mass destruction.
As for your ideas...spill 'em! Splatter the little buggers all over the paper...er...monitor....whatever! Just have fun.

Let rip.
There are hundreds out there, with communities for all sorts of pairings and areas.
The 2007 movie has regenerated a lot of interest but there is a lot of Generation One stories too. These are the ones based on the original 80s animated tv series.
I'm quite happy to be a sounding board for any ideas or checking on terminology etc for you if you want.
The movie sparked off ideas in my head too, along with some great fics that I've been reading and then the ideas had baby ideas....

Every single incarnation of Transformers has sparked story ideas for me. Gen-1, Beast Wars/Beast Machines, Armada/Energon/Cybertron, Transformers Animated and the Movie (wish they'd release Masterforce, Victory, Beast Wars Second/Neo, etc in the US). Sometimes they even become weird crossovers with other shows (GI Joe, Justice League...) For the moment, they are only private musings for my own entertainment.
You can decide which project is number one, but as long as the tracks in your mind has switch boards there is no reason not to go for both ideas.

If you decide to do a sequel to the movie, by all means e-mail me a copy. I'm eager to find out what others want to see happen in the future.
