Every now and then, one has to stop typing/writing for a moment just to admire what one just wrote. anyone had that happen yet? What's the best line so far in your novel?
I just have to say that I am very fond of this little bit:
"Excuse me if I don’t offer to help this double-feature creepshow with their bags; I’ll be waiting at the car."

"It's proud of being sleazy, you know? None of this Gentleman's Club stuff; that's too highbrow. It's a strip bar, Labbat Blue all the way."

I had that kind of moment not too long ago (earlier today, in fact).
One of my character confront my mad scientist. The character says : “Do you know that you are a megalomaniac?"
My mad scientist proudly respond : “I will not accept to be called a megalomaniac! "
And in fact, my mad scientist is lying. It is true that this mad scientist is a megalomaniac. This mad scientist think he can save the world with psychic powers. And yesterday, I decided that this mad scientist will end up in a psychiatric hospital because almost nobody will believe him. Poor mad scientist!
