5000 words and rising.... :D

Not bad since my first day was a non-event due to my computer going down in a big mucky heap and taking until the 2nd to sort out! How is everyone else going?

Awesomely done Topenda! I detest it when technology fails us... 'making life easier' ... yeah right!

That said, I'm addicted to the net, my laptop, my everything, so I hate to talk bad about it.

My word count is going okay but as I'm aiming for 100k words this year... not so much. I should be at 13,332 words by the end of today and it just doesn't look like that's going to happen, especially with plans to hit the yummy Dragon Court resturant tonight at the casino.. yum!

How's everyone else going?

I'm falling behind! I'm only on about 3300 words so far (it takes me forever to write). I'm thinking this will get easier, though, as I delve further into the plot.

Also my last exam is tomorrow morning (I'm at CDU currently) so not studying (or not procrastinating about studying) will make it easier to write. Somehow when I think about writing at the moment, I feel I should be writing to study instead of NaNoWriMo, so I do something else that's completely different :P

Okay, I'm finished skiting now. The last couple of days have been a non-event due to work stuff, so I'm only up to 7200-odd.

I'm currently in the "Oh-my-God-this-is-complete-shit," stage, and trying to remember why I thought the storyline was so promising. AND trying to work out why my supposedly complicated plotline doesn't seem to be enough to fill out the 50 000. Aaaarrrgggghhhh.

To get it moving I asked my MC and a secondary to talk about some backstory and describe the setting, but they are currently discussing why they reckon I'm not getting my shit together. Lol!

Mesa tinking I need sleep.

I'm currently completing a Bachelor of Communications majoring in digital film and (funnily enough) writing. I'm just doing electives while I'm at CDU though, so this exam is all about XHTML code, something that is not my forte!

I'm technically enrolled at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, but I'm in Darwin for this year so I decided to do some units in my spare time.

Also, I don't mean to be super-picky or anything, but my name is actually Rohan, not Rob : ) I know, the username makes it difficult!
