261558!

Go us!

Yes, Nixtress, it is pretty damned good. You're most likely comparing us to the word count of Nottingham, which is just a ridiculous thing to do. Too many of the Derbys lot are affiliated with Nottingham. Out of 106 affiliated with Derbyshire, you have to think there's going to be a few inactive participants not adding to that word count. We're a relatively new region really and are only just taking off this year. Before that, closest city was Nottingham (which is more of an east midlands group rather than a Nottingham group). Plus we are only just a third of the way through the month.

So yeah, Derbyshire's word count ROCKS!! Our wrimo's are absolutely FAB and everyone is doing ACE

Oookkaay.
Yeah I will admit I was going from Nottingham.
I did rethink that thought earlier.

And I will add this, I don't feel that my wrimo is FAB, it's scary, yes. That's the word I'd use for it, push the words out like this and you come out with your deeper thoughts and well mine obviously want to kill everyone in terrible ways to the point my own demise.

But yeah, I'm not going for 50k this year; No I'm going for the Nottingham Unicorn, if only I could off the infamous Paul Cockburn and Kitty Taylor.
Paul seems to have taken a back seat to watch me and Kitty bicker over it, so to speak.....

I will beat Kitty if it's the last thing I do!.
xD

Which it probably will be. >.<

Any way, rant over.
Sorry about that.

Nixtress - A wrimo is an ML term for you lot, our writers. Can't remember meeting any scary wrimos, except for Prosody there, he's a little scary ;)

Ooh right okay... I stand corrected.
My novel is scary. I'm sure I'm scary too.
So yeah, it all works in some way.

much :-) Although I'm not sure I believe you that you're scary. Insane going into competition with Kitty maybe, but hey, we all are a little bit.

Interesting solution. You could just break them so she can use them again afterwards. Or lock her in a small room with no Internet connection.

She'd still be able to write then.

But I couldn't do that to her, she's too... well I love her too much for my own good.
xD
Last year I only took part in this for her, you know moral support and all.
This year well I was beatting her till we got to 20k... I need to pick up some more speed or something.

Wow. I can't believe that unicorn is still making the rounds!

I bought that unicron and presented it at a meeting in Nottingham a few years ago when I was a ML there. :)

Memories... :)
