Good luck with reaching 50,000! I know what you mean about being pushed for time...I was doing alright before. The first couple of days I spent doing mostly research for unexpected plot points - but I managed to catch up at about day four and was hovering just over the daily word limit. I've been really busy for the last two days though and am now away this weekend (and possibly working next week) - so I'm rapidly falling behind again. I'm going to alter the daily word target for the next week or so though, as that way I can gradually get back on track - and hopefully get a couple of days in hand should events pile up another time!

I think you're very ambitious and clever taking up NaNo when you've got mocks- so welldone and good luck.
Me? I'm annoyed. Life SERIOUSLY gets in the way of this thing, and last week I had to take the week off from doing it as I was so busy. Which means this week I should be catching up, right? But it's coming together very slowly, and some days there literally aren't enough hours in the day for me to do it:( and I encouraged my mum to do nanowrimo, which means comprimising valuable computer time.

Whether no one reads this, or no one cares, it's bloody good to vent and have a moan to someone!

awww, poor you. Great thing with mocks is study leave...so much free time to type up what I've written. I'm getting somewhere...slowly...handwritten pages of it

I care, Sossij!

Sorry to hear you have compromised your work by letting your mum use the computer: maybe these adults should stand aside and let the youngsters flourish ; )

For next year's Nanowrimo do you think you might consider borrowing someone's laptop for the duration? Just a thought.

I do hope you can complete and feel in my bones that you probably will, because, perhaps like me, you need that knife-edge time in order to write at your very best. A very exhausting way of living I know, but the public gets the best of you that way!

Your public awaits!

All the very best,

Poplar_Kitten
