My first NaNoWriMo word-goal is accomplished. But it's far from over for me. I'm only half way through the novel, if that. I'll still be writing right along side of you guys for the next two weeks. It feels so great to have reached this point and I'm looking forward to the next 50k words.
Best of luck to all of you in your goals, be it 50k or 150k. :)

As one of the remaining original L.A. Nanoers, please allow me to be the first to congratulate you on your successful maiden Nano voyage. I hope that you can finish the story and feel the taste of double victory. Judging by your speed, I doubt you will have any trouble at all in accomplishing that.
"Next time though, you can't use your toes to type, too . That's cheating," he said as he returned to typing his novel with his lowly two forefingers. :-( Hmmm, two forefingers...does that make it eight fingers?

Congratulations, you devious bastard. While the others (like myself) were sleeping, you had to go and finish up.
Luckily, I had my lag at the end of the first week, and I'm catching up quickly. I don't see myself getting 100K, like you seem apt to do, but 50 is well within my reach.

Oh, stop. :) 100k is kind of a crazy goal considering this is my first NaNo but I figured I'd give it run for its..words? Whatever. KEEP GOING!

I made it! The last 9000 words were a complete slog and I wanted rocks to fall and everyone to die but I kept on writing and I finished. Aw man... now the rest of the month is going to be spent finishing the story.

Gosh, I am so impressed with you all. I'm one of those who doesn't even really start until now. At 16,800 so far today and that's doing 2000+ today. I did it the same way last year. I'd really like to try it your way, you all, so that the entire book would be done by November; not just the draft. Today, though, it is finally getting fun and not work as I have locked my editor away finally.
Blessings to you all as you continue beyond 50,000. See some of you in Studio City tomorrow maybe.
Totally impressed and cheering myself on with your zeal! --Me

Ah, the vegan has gone green, bar that is, how appropriate. I even got to do it with a small audience at Lulu's this morning. It's cool to get applause when you win at anything, and add some applause from Chris Baty and you can't beat it. Now on to the two most magical words in Nano - "The End." That to me is the real win.
Cya all in the winners circle, and I hope at next Saturday's wrap-up party.

Woo hoo, hit 50K!
Not quite at the end of the story so will see how much more I do before the deadline.
Then of course there is that little thing about making the story "good" not just 50K words long.... Ah, that is what December and the rest of the year is fo, right?

I did it! *Whew* Euphoric highs and dreadful lows characterized this NaNo (my third). It was grueling from start to finish and I loved every minute of it. See you for Script Frenzy in April. Tonight will be the time to frolic in the forums, something I'm looking forward to. Frolic! Frolic! Good luck to all of you coming down the home stretch towards the finish line. Keep writing!

WOOOT!
And officially six times a winner!!!
(No, it never gets old. ;-)
Of course there's a lot more story left int he novel, but I got a good solid chunk of it done and i know where it's going from here.
I share my last line (after hitting 50k and deciding to keep going long enough to pound out some reminder notes/ outline for the rest of the story):
THE END! ;-)))
*gazes at the pretty, pretty purple*...and hey! it even gave me an extra word when it counted! Cool! :)

Finished with about a half-hour to spare. Now a day off and back to turning this draft into something...not quite sure what yet.
