Well, we've got a victory thread for those of us who have crossed the finish line, but what about the rest of us who are struggling? And consequently want to beat their novels over the head with a rubber trout? Or a stick? Or a Fender guitar?
Vent your frustrations here and we'll give you coffee, cookies, and hugs to help soothe the NaNo pain.
In the meantime, I'm sending positive writing mojo to each of you!
EDIT: Changed the title but it's not as epic as it could've been; there's apparently a limit on how long the title can be. ;)

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 cups oatmeal

1tsp baking soda
1ttsp baking powder

For those of us who need immediate oral gratification and can't wait for "baking time", here's another recipe that's really quick to make, and very good.
Chocolate Nut Bark
1 - 12 oz. pkg. of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup of toasted slivered almonds
Melt chocolate chips (med. temp. in microwave for 2-3 minutes works well)
Stir in almonds
Spread thinly on wax paper covered cookie sheet and chill until firm
Break into pieces and FEAST on chocolate!!!!
A little chocolate (no, a LOT of chocolate) does wonders for your creativity. :-)

Can I suggest you change the name to the "I want to beat my novel over the head with an extra large dark chocolate bar with almond and orange flavouring " support group.
Doesn't have as nice a ring to it but it's a whole lot more tasty and has at least 10 more words.
Word count tricks are important, you know.....

I'd have to second that! Did anyone notice the Christmas chocolates are already in the stores? Time for a quick trip away from the computer for something decadent and tasty, indulgently packaged.....dark, yummy chocolate........back later!

What about the opposite problem? My MC just sat down in the middle of the woods last night and refused to do anything. I guess he's on strike!

Beat them with a rubber trout until they continue on their journey(s)! I have to tie mine up in order to get them to behave.
