The plan is to have a relaxing late lunch in Exeter on the afternoon of Sunday 2nd December.
Who's up for it? What times would suit people? Does anyone want a lift?
Any good suggestions for venues would be welcome, too. Most of the chain-operated places (Nandos, Ask, La Tasca and the like) seem to want £5 deposits per head as we are getting into Christmas party territory.
In the meantime, I will keep on schmoozing random restaurant managers whenever I get a chance...
Keep the date for now, and please indicate whether you'll be coming along! I reckon we deserve a good scran-up!

One place I thought of earlier, was Harry's Bar, which is just on a street up and behind where Debenhams used to be - reasonably cheap and cheerful. The other cheap place that springs to mind, and might not want a reservation fee, is Starz bar - gain, cheap and cheerful, so as long as people come with no illusions it's the Ritz, we're good to go! (with several people being students/not working, then cheap probably wins out over fancy schmancy, right?)
Still holding ou hope that Pizza Express won't want a cover charge, they do yummy pizzas, as a "I wrote a novel in a month damnit!" treat!

Hi All,
Like Edgybets, I have not been able to make any of the write-ins and won't be able to make the TGIO party as too many other commitments and too much juggling to do. I too will be there in spirit so raise a glass to E and me, don't mind if it's only water. Have a great time.
Off to write more words though will get priorities straight and have lunch first!
Best wishes,
Palefox.

I think everyone that was planning to come has been notified, but just in case, please note that we're not meeting tomorrow after all.
We're all broke, or exhausted, or just need this weekend to catch up on that boring little detail called "Real Life."
Watch this space for details of where & when we'll be meeting up to pat backs and share chapters!
