well, it might be interesting to have your main male character have some inner dialogue comparing the differences between a man and a woman. as a woman, i have only kissed men - and they have all been different - and that will work for you too. remember the best kisses you've ever had and then compare and contrast. some things i've been told about my kissing: my lips are very soft, i kiss very slowly, one man liked that i rubbed his chest up and down, caressing his neck. the woman might be shorter than his male love interest, that also would change how he approached the kiss. her size may change how protective he might feel toward her. he might be more gentle than if he were kissing a man. does she know he's gay and she is curious about how it would be to be with a man whose never been with a woman. he's kind of a virgin, she might think. or perhaps she is very aggressive, taking a dominant role in initiating the kissing - something that he likes for a change. there may be more or less groping, pressing against (and that might feel a bit different, yes?), differences in shapeliness the best part of it all is that since no two kisses are ever the same, regardless of sex, you can let your imagination loose.
