I'll be there. In as good a mood as I possibly can be. I've had a lot of family issues come up. My mother is very ill at the moment, but I'll make sure we have seats at the Thirsty Monk. I'd like to encourage everyone who comes to make a purchase of at least a soft drink to thank the establishment for letting us have this gathering there. And despite my word count so far, I will be another 50K winner in attendance, even if I am cutting it close.

Incidently, if we're going to exchange stories at this little get together on the 8th, I will need the help of someone (or multiple someones) with a laptop. While I carry my flash drive with me everywhere, I don't have a portable computer. So, if I am to read the works of others, they will need to be deposited on my memory stick (as well as an email address or other information so I can pass along a critique after all is said and done). :)

It's official, the seats have been reserved for the Thirsty Monk on December 8th at 8:00 pm. I reserved enough seats for ten people, which was the number I was able to judge would be attending based on the number of people who seemed interested. More are welcome and I'm sure we can scare up some more chairs if need be. I'll be ordering some appetizers like fries and onion rings so make sure to bring your appetites and some extra cash to buy some drinks. They have a great selection of other foods there as well, and some really great wings too! See everyone this Saturday.
