Since Nanowrimo is almost done, I'm trying to think ahead to future months without having this big cozy support network. Waah! A number of us have blogs, so if you want to make some friends, now is the time to post your link to LiveJournal or Blogspot or wherever you are. If you have any other good writing forums or communities, post about those, too!

My new writing blog is on LiveJournal: http://celestialgldfsh.livejournal.com/profile
I have one manuscript done and I want to bulk-up this year's Nano to make it full novel-length. I'm also trying to work on more short stories and I'm looking into doing articles. I'm trying to take the "freelance" thing seriously, so my journal will be all about that struggle. =)

My blog is at www.chapteriii.blogspot.com

My posts have all been a bit half-hearted recently as NaNo has taken most of my energy!
I like to post on bookish stuff, as well as day-to-day news and commentary so my mates back in Australia can check in and see what I'm up to (I moved to San Diego almost two years ago).

I, too, will miss the forums and the daily emails from other writers in my region. It has been fantastic. I'm also keen to continue, now that I've discovered how much I love writing fiction.

I know I would not have made it as far as I did this year without the very active forums here. I've always wanted to write and never really have I guess because I didn't think I could but have learned here that I can! Now I know I must because these darn characters that are running around in my head and driving me NUTS!! LOL

I'm still in the setting up process of my blog which can be found at www.attackingbutterflies.blogspot.com

I'd definately be interested inkeeping in touch beyond Nano!

Blog: http://furious-angel.com
Writing blog: http://vikki-blake.com

Am happy to host a little forum someplace if people would like to keep chatting chick-lit elsewhere? Let me know if you'd let me to set it up - I own the domain http://chick-lit.net but it's currently empty (it's pointing to my writing blog at the moment!), but would be nice to have use for it! (I'm a web designer :))

Edit: I may not post much, but I do read here everyday! It's been a lifeline. :)

are the NaNo forums up and running year round? I didn't realize that, cool!

Well heck, I'll definitely continue to haunt the forums...it's such a wonderful means of productive procrastination ;-) (truly productive -- not being facetious -- ok while I'm cruising the forums I'm not "writing" but it's such a great source for morale-boosting, research, information on everything under the sun, and yeah, plain ol' goofing off among kindred spirits :-D )

Also looking at NaNoEdMo [editing] and NaNoFiMo [finishing]

[Hope this is okay to post here - if it isn't, please delete/move Mods!]

Anyway, it's all set-up: http://chick-lit.net/forum/index.php. There's no ads or anything, and it's not very fancy - just a simple little place and I'm very open to suggestions! Would *love* to see you there - spread the word! :)

What fun, a website forum dedicated to us chick-lit-ers...

OK, my procrastination break is almost over, gotta get back to the word race...

Thanks very much Vixx for setting up the forum :-D

You're really very welcome! I find it so inspirational to read from people in the same place as I am with writing, with the same hopes and dreams and problems - I just hope it'll be as helpful as here has been.

I'm out of town over the weekend so please, get over there and start making dem posts!

Hi Vixx,

looks like no posting to the chick-lit forum is possible until the administrator activates each new member who registers...so, when you get a chance...? :-D

Thanks!
