I just finished hitting my 50k! But I am not ready to stop. I know that without the motivation of a crazy deadline, I will probably walk away from my novel and let it gather computer dust...sigh. So I think I am going to sign up for NaNoFiMo and then later NaNoEdMo. I really believe in my little novel- not that it is great now, but in it's potential!

Is anyone else joining up?

I'm In!!!

I screwed up in the dumbest of dumb blonde ways with my novel, got discouraged briefly but have rebounded and really would like to finish my novel.

See there tomorrow and Congrats on going beyond the 50,000 mark!!

Definitely! I even managed to find my login id from last year so I didn't have to re-register :-D

I'm glad I made it to the NaNoWriMo 50K finish line, but I'm not finished -- I really feel like I'm just getting started with my novel.

Writing as fast as I could all month without allowing any judgment or criticism by the Inner Editor was fun -- I learned a lot about my story and characters. But now it's time to let my Inner Editor out of the dungeon ;-) and focus on a real outline, define the character arcs, etc. etc. etc.

Now the real work begins.

Thank gawd for NaNoFiMo.

Hey is anyone else signing up for the special chick-lit forum that Vixx has launched? hope to see you all there!
