So is anybody working on a way to lock out those people who did not complete a novel from the forums? I think it would be an appropriate thing to do in order to keep the undesirables away from all of us who are titled "Winners".

I don't know about anyone else, but after neglecting family, friends, pets and more for the past month, I think I am definitely voted as the undesirable one in my social clan (especially since I refuse to show anyone my fledgling novel)... and all those people would probably be expecting that I stay locked up somewhere now, and if it's in these forums... well... so be it.

Ha ha. I have outright refused to let anyone read my novel. No one can seem to grasp the concept of the difference between a finished novel and a "finished" novel written in a month. All the non'ers tend to believe it is a regular practice to crank out a novel in a month. This may hold some truth when speaking of the more prolific professional writers of our time, but it does not hold true to those of us who are regular people with regular jobs/lives.
