Consider this the official shout-out thread.
Possibly there aren't very many of you reading the forums anymore, but for the die-hards who want to keep the ball rolling or who are just reluctant to let go of fun new acquaintances, this thread is for you. Place your shout out here, be it info, writer's groups, mailing lists, or just a request to know whats going on out there in the real world. I know we all have busy lives outside NaNo, but there's no reason we can't at least remain talking. :)
Keep in mind, the forums will be around at least another month, and we will also still hold the Central Perk meetings through December.
We may hold them longer as well, not as a writer's group, but simply as a sort of support system. It does seem a lot easier to write when others around you are doing so as well, especially when you're stuck or feel like procrastinating. If you are interested in this, let wholeygirl or myself know by PM or email, or just show up on Thursday and tell us in person.
Also, let us know what you're area is doing to try to keep the muse alive. Remember, there is never a "good time" to write, you must make time, and that's a lot easier to do when you have a support system backing you up.
Happy holidays everyone, and thanks for a great year!

Are the forums going in a month, then? The donations area shows enough funding to keep the forums afloat for a year. Is ithis accurate?
Anyway, we'll still be holding the Hayward write-ins once a month, usually on some mutually agreeable Friday, though we may well have to find another location to confirm arrangements if the forums are going **sniff** The next Hayward meeting is on Friday, December 21.

The forums are not necessarily going anywhere. I think they will try to keep them open a year, but I was hoping for an official word of some sort before promising things that I am unsure of. I do believe the plan is to keep this corner of the net alive. :)
