while nano was a huge motivator for me (I've never written this much-ever) but I still didn't finnish my novel. I plan to keep writing this December-determined to reach 50K or a satisfying ending, which ever comes first before New Year's. This week, I only added 2k words. Anyone else out there need a motivation buddy?

If you are interested, there is a Novel Writers Meetup that gets together at Borders the second Saturday of each month (yesterday for December - sorry). You can go to meetup.com, and click the tab towards the top that says "Meetups by topic" Then you will see a list to the right where you can click on "writers" that will take you to an area you can put in your zip code and it will take you to the "Nashville Writers Meetup Group."
It's a great group of people that are very encouraging.

Interesting - think I might find me an opportunity to look into some of these hookups. Thanks :-)
I am always writing - actually started on some tweaking, okay some total revisions, of my Nano Novel. I have a new simmering in the back of my mind while I work on this.

I've foolishly started another novel.
I think it's the stress. Noveling is the ultimate escape for me.

Start a new novel foolishly, by all means.

You're right, that's the best way.
