It's been pretty quiet, but now that the family stuff is over I'm actually getting some work done and sleeping (yes, 3am-10am is mine!). Since about 10pm last night, I actually managed to finish the outline and timeline for my next novel which takes place between my completed novel and my NaNovel. I'm very excited about starting work on it, but I still have some more research to do on it.
That's my holiday though--reading up on serial killers/murder cases, Maryland state law, and other thriller-related material.

I did get to read Naomi Novik's latest Temeraire book once NaNo was over, and am looking forward to the next one (dang cliff hangers!!!). I have others on my list, but need to attend to my writing as well.
In fact, I'm noticing as I type this that my nails are too long to type properly! Also, I need to not let my cluttered house get in the way of my writing/editing/reading...
