Hi all,

Just thought I'd remind you that National Novel Editing Month begins on the 1st March and the forums are now open at www.nanoedmo.net

If you've managed to finish your Nanowrimo novel (or any other first draft for that matter) and want to do some editing in the same kind of supportive group atmosphere as you find here, please come over and sign up.

The basic premise is to complete 50hrs or more of editing within the 31 days of March. Winners receive a certificate just like with Nanowrimo (and hopefully end up with a much cleaner piece of polished prose too).

I'm ML-ing for EdMo as well, so there'll be various meets and Edit-Ins arranged for the month to keep us all going, so I hope to see some of you over there.

:-)

Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to this year - I'm going to be doing Holly's "Keys" course at the OWWW workshop from mid-Feb. (At least, I hope I will!) Plus, of course, March is short-story-in-a-week month at the workshop.

My NaNovel is due for rewriting from April. Keys permitting!

aw, c'mon - you can use the skills from the one to edit the other! Did the Keys myself awhile back so I know it's a viable option. Only 50 hours, so no excuses! ;-)

I will try it! I am doing some editing now on a different story. This is the area I get most flustered in when I am writing. Maybe my White smoke software will help.

Yay, that's four of us - John has signed up although he's keeping quiet on here about it :-) - who else is up for it?

Come on, you know you want to! :-D

Erm, yeah, I signed up. Dunno how much I'll be able to work on the novel, though. 50 hours seems unlikely, but hey, it's an excuse to come to meets :-)

Those of you who are taking part in NaNoEdMo, officially or otherwise, may be interested in the list of meets that I've posted on the EdMo forums.

If you're interested in coming along and want the details see here:
