folks,
I am going to have to learn to write an erotic scene for November, and I am a little hesitant. OK, lets face it, I am scared to death of it.
In the next story, I will have to write rape and coercion scenes to emphasize the badness of the bad guys, at the very least. I think that I want to include the good guys having their own sex, so the story doesn't end up being a SMBD fest.
Is there a way that I can go about learning to do that?

http://www.sexuality.org is a great resource. Very matter of fact, not likely to surprise you with random picture, and has topics on pretty much everything and then some.
NSFW, due to VERY explicit adult topic.

The best advice I ever got for writing sex is: before you try it for real, get out a clean piece of paper or open a new word document and write the most depraved, horrible, violent, kinky, f@cked up sex scene you can possibly imagine. The theory being that once you've described a girl having sex with a hammerhead shark while a ship of sailors cheer her on, anything else is easy.
This works, I promise (the advice, not the having sex with a hammerhead).

Navy sailors or pirate sailors cheering her on? Whole new idea on propriety vs. inpropriety cheering her on... ;-)

I found so many links to help me write about a brothel last year, something i knew less than nothing about. Some of my favs dealt mostly with synonyms for different body parts/actions so that your story does not get derailed by using a inappropriate word for the scene.

I could link the other 10 links I personally use from Literotica, but you can also look for yourself for just the right subject matter you need.
Good luck!
