I enjoy the voice instilled in NaNoWriMo as a whole. Whoever writes the emails and technical information: love the humor through honesty, mate(s). Keep it up.

Chris Baty is our inspiration; most of the stuff has his hand in it, and he's the one who strives to keep the voice of NaNo what it is. We staffers try to emulate it as much as possible (and in fact, when we write "official" stuff, we call that friendly tone being "batyized." :)
