My name is Robert and this will be my third nanowrimo. This year I plan to work on a series of short stories with a common thread throughout. This will hopefully complement my already jammed packed writing schedule as I am in the last semester of my MFA program. I would love to get together with anyone who needs a reader or any other help. Just let me know.

Hola! I'm Lufia, and it's my first year doing NaNo, obviously. I've been a free-writer for a while, but I've never quite done something this big -- I have trouble finishing most novels. I want to do something sci-fi or fantasy, but I'm not quite sure what. Hopefully I can make it this year. :D

Okay, so, I'm Kerry and this is my second attempt at Nano...last year I tried it but I didn't exactly get there. This time around I'm planning to write a fantasy novel, my realistic fiction one not turning out so well (I've always been more of a fantasy girl). I'm more looking for someone to either a) bounce ideas off of and/or b) just offer encouragement/tips ever now and then. Thanks!

I'm here to help out with whatever. This is my 5th year doing Nano. I write a little bit of everything. I know nothing of fantasy or science fiction but I don't mind reading it. I usually finish my Nano writing but then struggle with what comes next. I'm still working on last years story but ready to start a new one. I'd love to help out with encouragement and to be a nano buddy. Good luck all

Don't know that I'd call myself a veteran, as last year was my first Nano, but I did finish. And learned a few things along the way that I intend to put into practice (I hope) this year. If anyone wants an encouraging word or a head to bounce ideas (or whatever off of) or just someone to bemoan the lack of progress we both are experiencing, let me know!

I write and read mostly fanstasy, but I've dabbled in murder mystery, as well.

Hey, I'm Indigo Ink and I'm a newbie :). It would be great to get some tips from a Veteran! Iearned about this awesome NaNoWriMo yesterday, so I'm still trying to figure out how this all works. I'm not sure on my genre, but I'm thinking about YA fic or futuristic utopia/dystopia...but I like fantasy too. I'm a bit divided here, as you can see. :)

i am a newbie doing my first ever nanowrimo. Would love to connect with a veteran who can offer support and advice. I am especially worried about the prospect of editing this thing next month, that is if I can actually push the story to 50,000 words!

Hi all, I'm Rick. First time attempt at this.
I have a full novel I've been working out over the past few years but I've never attempted to write in a short time like this. I started already and I'm pushing 3,000 words as of the time of this post. I've got a great story idea with 4 or 5 really cool scenes hashed out in my head. Beyond that I'm just writing and seeing what comes out getting the characters from scene 1 to scene 2 and so on. Already I've typed out some things I'm not sure where the thoughts came from but it's sending my story in places I hadn't really expected. It's going to be fun to keep pushing and see where this goes.

Year Five for me!
In the midst of working two jobs, taking college courses, and filling out grad school applications, I will be going for my next victory!
Looking forward to meeting new people and seeing old friends at the some of the Seacoast write-ins.
I'm around quite a bit if anyone has questions or anything like that! Good luck all!

Hi, I'm Rachel! I live on the Seacoast and would love to meet someone who lives near enough to me to participate in some of the write-ins I'm planning. If you live far away, that's okay too-- the internet is a beautiful thing for bringing people together, haha!
This is my first year doing NaNo, but I've wanted to participate for quite some time. I'd love to get pep talks and wisdom from a veteran NaNo novelist.
