Remember, if you are in the York or Lancaster area, stop in and say 'Hey!' there.

For the Elsewhere WriMo's... Welcome to the 11th year of NaNo! There is already an Intro thread started so stop in, say hi and have some cookies and beverage of your choice. :) I hope everyone has fun this year.

Yeah, I've been waiting all year for this. NaNo is going to be great this year. I've been trying to encourage friends to join with me, but they all chickened out.

Looking forward to November and all the craziness that will ensue.

P.S.
I'm taking Oreos and Milk for my cookie and beverage.

Hi everyone!
I'll finally be in town this year instead of being away at school, so hopefully I can make it to a write-in or something. ^^

Town being York, heh. Though its not like Lancaster is very far away or anything..

Hey everyone! I've done Nano before, but it's been a couple of years since the last time I tried it. I'm going to give it another go this year, though. So, I figured I'd stop in and say hello. My name is Karen and I live in York.

Hello everyone. I'm Tanya and I'm going to give it a shot this year. I don't have high hopes cause this would be my fourth year trying, and I've yet to make it past 25k before quitting. But I do want to try to make it this year. Anyways I live in York.

Hello everyone! Welcome back and we'll have everyone reaching that 50k mark yet!

If everyone could put the Harrisburg area as one of the regions too so that we have everyone together, that would be great. :)

I'm baaaack! And this year possibly blowing it off on day 3 again. Or sticking through with it. Stupid boyfriend distracts me with things such as having a life.
I'm probably one of those other two Mville students that was mentioned seeing as I am, in fact, a student at Mville.

Just as a suggestion, but a couple of years back we had a writing get together at Prince St Cafe in downtown Lancaster. Would anyone like to do that again? I had a different username back then, WaitingTillNightfall, but I decided go more au natural this year with my actual name (tis Abi!). Also, I think there was a meeting at Lancaster Public Library, but I didn't make that one.

Is downtown Lancaster a good place to meet up for everyone? I live closest to the city and can usually make it to meetings there if I ask off ahead of time.

Hello! Giving this a shot this year, hopefully I can fit all my writing in and finish something this big! I live in Denver but work in Lancaster.

Hiii there. I have no idea what I'm going to write about since I've never done this before, and only JUST heard about it. I'm from the Denver area as well, and I'm hoping to not crash and burn.

Hi and welcome!

We did try the Prince Street Cafe but it was crowded so it wouldn't be very helpful, I think trying to get a group of people a spot might be difficult. That place seemed to be incredibly popular. But then that's just me. I'm going to look into another cafe that is on Chestnut street that is right across from a place called Dog Star, as it would hopefully be a little quieter. I haven't worked in Lancaster for over ten years so if there are any other locations that could accomodate people and their laptops, please feel free to chime in.

Hey hey hey...this is Red Lion, represent! I probably won't be in town until the end of the month, but maybe I skip some school and head home for a write-in or some such...anyway, MASSIVELY excited!

Hello everyone.

My name is Jennifer, also known as SaturnMoonie, Saturn or Moonie, whichever you guys prefer. Anyway, I'm new to the area. Just moved to Lancaster 3 weeks ago from Connecticut. This is my second year participating in NaNo. Last year I wrote just under 25k. Hopefully this year I'll make it further.

Since I'm new and I don't have a car, I probably wont make it to any meet-ups. But if something sounds familiar, and it's around me, I'll most definitely try to make it!

:)

Trying again this year, even though it's probably nuts to do so! But school and writing a novel has to be compatible sometime, right? Right? Haha. Even if they aren't, I'll be trying my hardest this year to hit the big 50k, because that would be so fun.

Don't know if I'll make it to any write-ins, but we shall see. It would definitely be cool to be able to write with you all, of course!

Hello all! This is my first year writing in NaNo! I'm excited ... but also really, really nervous! Working more than full time and writing is a challenge that I've been trying to overcome since I graduated college (which was five months ago but still!), and hopefully this will be an awesome jump start! I never heard of NaNoWriMo until a few weeks ago and I am SO happy that it all exists.

I'm from Lancaster, by the way!

Happy writing, everyone!

Hey everyone!
This is my second year doing NaNo in my 14 years of life.
I finished the first time with a spiritual and have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do for this year. I'm a bit unprepared this time around, but I'm confident I can pull it off.

Hope to see you all around!

Oooh! Ya know what, Chestnut Hill is a way better idea. It didn't even cross my mind, but it probably should have. It's much quieter, better writing atmopshere, and excellent espresso.

Hey guys! First time Nano-er here...um, so yeah. Obviously, I'm really good at this whole "conversation" thing. Just thought I'd drop by. After all, gotta represent Lancaster, ya know?

I'm off to work on my novel, so here goes nothing! :)

Just dropping in and saying hello quickly - this is my second year, I have already scrapped my first plot and decided to start over with another that will hopefully keep me inspired for at least 50K! I won last year by the skin of my teeth and excessive adverbs, but due to the fact that I had an adorable rugrat trailing behind me at all times, I wasn't able to make any meet ups last year... maybe this year?
Good luck to all, first-timers and returning NaNo - ers!
