I'm currently a student at the SRJC, and I'm worried that I might not finish my novel because it's my first year participating during college, so I'll be writing away in the SRJC library on Thursdays afternoons around 12PM (my last class ends around that time, and I'm usually completely free after then) until about 1 or 1:30PM.

However, my schedule's pretty flexible--I could show up on Tuesdays at the same time and my Monday/Wednesday classes end between 2 and 2:30PM--so if Thursday afternoons don't work out then I'm willing to forgo them for another day or time!

I'm not sure which floor I'll be on--probably the third or fourth because they're a little roomier, but if you guys would prefer one over the others let me know!--so I'll go scouting tomorrow and post the location then.

The library has a cafe too, so there's plenty of caffeine to go around! Hope to see you guys there. :)

As am I! Cept for the first year part. This is my second year. 8'D BUT YES, you'll be seeing me at these library write-ins. The time frame fits snuggly in my schedule, like it were meant to be! My class also ends at 12 and I must go to my next class sometime after 1:15. I think it would be great if we could do Tuesdays too, or at least I'll be doing Tuesdays.

I think second floor would do just fine. It doesn't seem like too many people go to the third floor, it's more of the second and fourth floor that seem to get populated more. And we can meet in the round center thang and go mob a room together, our large numbers as our weapons.

We should also have a little sign or something to say that we're doing NaNoWriMo! We can set it up and drag it around.

In conclusion, COUNT ME IN!

I can definitely join in on Tuesdays as well. :) And meeting on the second floor before we find a spot to write sounds like an awesome idea!

A sign would be a great idea to get people informed about NNWM. The more the merrier! :D

Maybe we can print out the NaNoWriMo flyers and hang them around the campus like the clubs do so we can try to get people interested before November? (Will we need permission to post them? I'm not currently in a club so I'm not familiar with the flyer protocol, if there is any.)

You can count me in for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Ethereel told me yesterday, so I just thought I'd put my, uh, foot, in.

I have no idea how the posting flyers thing works at the SRJC, whether there be rules or not. We could just go post them in the print and copy rooms and see if they don't get torn down in a week. 8'D

And it looks like we're massing quite the formidable group here! Wahoo!!

IF you're at the JC im assuming you went to SRHS. right? if so, do the teachers recognize what NaNo is>?

I'm another eager NaNo-er on campus, but unfortunately I'm in class pretty consistently on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If anyone's around on Monday and Wednesday, chances are I'll be typing away (either in the library or the lobby of Burbank Auditorium).

Like I said, I can be around some Mondays at pretty much any time after 11:00. (Only morning class Monday).

I would be game for Tuesdays. Sounds great to have a group of people to go to for writing support!

So as it stands right now, it looks like:

MONDAYS: (anytime after 11)
Odin
Rosepetal9
(maybe) Ethereel (after 12)

TUESDAYS: (12-1:30)
Ethereel
Midnight Feathers
Gideon
MinkeOR

WEDNESDAYS: (?)
Rosepetal9

THURSDAYS: (12-1:30)
Gideon
Ethereel
Midnight Feathers

So, to keep things consistent, it looks like Nano-ers will be meeting on the 3rd Floor in the library in the center division, and proceeding from there to take over a room. I think a small post it note should be left on the center table with where the NaNo-ers are on the 3rd floor, i.e. room number or general area. And perhaps a printed flyer can be put up on the window of the NaNo-room.

I think that's it. 8'D

Another SRJC NaNo-er here! This is my first year doing this, whee. I have class TTH from 11-1, but I'll definitely try to come tomorrow for the Monday meet up.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I can be in the library on Tuesday/Thursday mornings as well, from about 9AM-10:15ish. I'll most likely be on the third or fourth floor -- blonde girl (hair always in a ponytail) with the black Toshiba laptop. :) And my NaNo shirt.

Alright, so Gideon, Midnightfeathers and I are collected at one of the tables on the third floor. I have an obnoxious winter hat with flaps and there's a crazy person sitting next to me with a hulk shirt. That is how you will find us.

Are you guys all still in the library after 1:30? My classes all end then, so that's the only time I'm able to head over to the library.

I can hang out until later if you'd like, so you're not by yourself. Thursdays I'll be heading over for the Cafe Azul write-in after the JC, but that's not until 3-ish.

Gideon, Midnightfeathers, and I are at the FOURTH FLOOR in the library in one of the rooms. We'll be here until 2:45ish, cept for me because I have a class and will leave at 1:30, and after that it looks like the group is heading on over to Cafe Azul!

You can find us because we have a whiteboard in our room with NaNoWriMo written all over it and we have a sign taped to the glass. 8D WAHOO.

I might be at the library on Mondays and Wednesdays after one, and I can probably hang around for a while.

I'm on the fourth floor of the library, wearing a bright red t-shirt with sharpie on the back. I can only stay till 1:45, but if anyone wants to joins me...
