So, for the few others I know who are down south here, like myself, I took a look at one of the local coffee places.

Sertino's Coffee, on the opposite side of the parking lot from the Fry's in Sahuarita (Off of Sahuarita road, next to I-19). It looks like a good place for meeting up to write, for those interested! It's open 7 days a week. Open until 9 pm Mon-Fri, until 10pm on Sat & Sun. Has a lot of comfy chairs, and there are a number of electrical outlets in the 'booth' area (one looong booth with four tables, and chairs on the other side).

Figured I'd put it up as an option when we're looking for people to do a mini-meetup. I'm not sure about all their food options, aside from coffee, but I do know they have ice cream! :-D

I totally forgot about that place. xD They make AWESOME chai, and they're so nice too. Plus there's a Subway, so we can nip over there for sandwiches if coffee doesn't suffice. :3 Good thinking!

That sounds ideal. I may even have to wander down there from Tucson if I ever need a long drive to sort out plot problems, followed by a writing marathon.

Thanks!

I work in Nogales and Green Valley a few times a month, so maybe I'll see you there! Especially since I'm doing Flat Andrew for a friend of mine in November. It'd be cool to stop by.

There's a Sertino's on the East Side, too, on Tanque Verde, near a Safeway shopping area. It's layout sounds similar, but they don't have plugs near the booths, just near the tables. T_T And they make delicious sandwiches.
