Hey, so when and where are you guys having your kick-off party? I will be in Syd from about the 28th until probably the first or second... Was thinking that maybe I could attend if you are planning something on that weekend...? |

Well Lindsey, there are regular write-ins on Sunday nights at the NSW Writer's Centre, so they are *like* little parties. I'm also hoping to get permission for my usual write-ins at Macquarie Uni Department of Biological Sciences, however we'll probably be using the Museum this year, as the Tea Room is closed for renivations. They will be in Wednesday nights.
The write-in on Sunday night 1st Nov will be somewhat like a kickoff party I expect. No one should even be slighly negitive about their chances by then, so it should all be fairly boyant. :)
I'm looking forward to November!

Based on last year's Halfway Party experience - including myself, six people showed up for a City Extra booking I'd made for 40 - I was reluctant to organise one for this year.
If there is enough demand for one this year, we'll see.
