Hey hey,

I'm a senior at OSU, and if I Nano this year, it will be my third year. I don't know if I'm going to though...graduate school applications are a bitch, and I'm going to be out of the country for a week in mid-November. Even if I don't though, I'll be poking into the forums now and then to give moral support! :)

I'm not really an OSU student, but my husband is. I graduated from a small college about an hour south of Columbus this past spring and am currently unemployed. I told him that the month of November I'm going to go to Campus with him about every day and hang out in the Library and work on my story. So, while I am not an OSU student, I do plan on spending a lot of time on Campus.

I suspect that we alumni outnumber the current students - it's been like that every year, as far as I can tell.

Hi there everyone! My name is Brittany and I'm a current 3rd year junior at OSU. I work in Thompson Library, and I absolutely adore the new facilities, so I think write-ins there could be fun! I hope I get to meet you guys soon~!

Wow, people in my neck of the woods!

Im Andrew, a third year *insert major here* student. (Alas, I have no idea what to do in life>< But that is neither here nor there.)

Heh... a little NaNo gathering could be kinda fun! Would totally give me more motivation to actually do something! Haha!

Oh, we should totally have a write-in at the library! I'd love to meet all of you. Is the 7th okay for everyone? Or is there a better day?

Hey all! I'm Kas and I'm hoping to be an OSU student. I'm going to be applying to the Biomedical Engineering Graduate program as soon as I get myself together. :) Right now I'm a BIomed tech and I go to DeVry. Goodluck everyone!

I might be able to do the 7th. I'll have to see though. A friend of mine is suppose to deliver a horse to Missouri that day and she is begging me to come along. Maybe I'll use the write-in as my excuse not to go; I find the man she's delivering the horse to, to be very creepy.

I'm an OSU student, technically a junior. Still not sure yet if I'm going to actually participate this year, though.

Nice meeting you all!
Perhaps I should've said- I'm a freshman.
Anyway, I messaged Chaoticpi and the OSU write in is on the calendar! Whoo! No idea where in the library we're having it, but it's happening!

The 11th-floor study lounge is the perfect place, methinks. It's really nice up there.

The 7th at noon at the Library works fine by me.
Do we have an idea where we want to meet in there?

I'm a third year at OSU but this is my first year doing this. I'm not going to lie, I'm incredibly nervous! I'll be happy to meet at the library though!

We should probably meet in one of the group study rooms so we'll be allowed to talk. The 11th floor is a silent study.

Ohh, I would love to take part in this!!! My name is Katy and I'm a sophomore currently at OSU. I originally did this with friends back in high school, but since we've gone our separate ways, i haven't had anyone to share the craziness with. Is it still taking place at Thompson? Same floor on the 7th at noon? Or has the floor changed?

Yay Ohio State! I'm a former student and still live nearby. I'm so glad to see a write-in on campus! I really hope to make it.

I'm in for the 7th write-in! I have a friend who works at the library, and I can ask her if it's possible to reserve a room for that time. If not, we'll just find a spot. it'll work. See you all there!

the library's website is library.osu.edu, and the room reservation link is http://library.osu.edu/blogs/renovation/files/thompson-library-rentable-... but idk if it'll work cuz it's a pdf. I'll check into it. Although, apparently, it costs $$ to rent a room, so maybe we should just show up and find a spot. The Fireside room would be good for it, I think. It has seating for 26 people. Or any of the reading rooms.

I'm Ben! I'm a freshman in pre-environmental engineering.
What part of campus is everyone from? I'm in Morrill, which is fantastic.
I'll be camping on the 7th, so we should def plan on having more than 1 write-in.
And I'm all for taking over the top of the Thompson!
Can't wait to meet everyone!

Okay, so 7th at Thompson is established. But do we have any idea where in the library we should meet? Like someone said, the 11th floor is for "silent" studying, I believe, so maybe we could hijack a conference room or something. Maybe we could all meet near the west circulation desk (near Berry Cafe) and go from there? Any ideas?

Hey!

I'm a first year Bio Major, doing this for the first time because my roommate told me I should.
I'd love to go on the 7th, especially because Thompson is extremely shiny and awe inspiring.

I'm an OSU student and i am really jealous of the library write-in! I will be in chicago on the 7th. We should definitely do more of those though so that i can go. i'm kind of obsessed with the library.

btw i'm Ebeth, i'm a freshman english major and this is my fourth year doing nano. i live in haverfield on north campus so if anyone wants to come by and be screamed at to go away because i'm writing, feel free :P

I'm also a freshman at OSU. I'm a semi-undecided major, I guess. I'd love to come to a write-in! That's kind of early for my college self, but I'll be there.

I'll definitely drop by the write-in on the 7th; is it decided where we will meet in the library yet?
