This isn't just for those at Sac State (CSU Sacramento) I'm a senior there, but also for any alumni and professors/teachers who'd like to discuss some strategies we plan to employ in order to balance school, work, life and NaNo.

I'm also a senior at Sac State! Yaaaay!

I'll most likely work in class on NaNo ... my attention span doesn't usually hold a class length, especially if it's one of the night classes.

I'm a junior over at UCD.

Working on NaNo during class is a brilliant idea! I have one such lecture hall this quarter which would be a perfect place to get some writing done. I will definitely have to try this out.

I could totally see that, given we aren't the only two people on campus doing NaNo, lol. But we could do an all nighter kind of event at the AIRC or even go to Denny's. Though AIRC might be cheaper to do and we could take over the white boards?

LoL we could always ask the MLs to add it to the official calendar of write-ins and not end up as loners :) Taking over the white boards would be awesome we could start out at Denny's and then head over to the AIRC if we were doing an all-nighter... But yes cheaper is always preferable.

I'm a sophomore at UC Davis. And excited to see there's at least one other UCD NaNoer! I have one class I should be able to get some writing done in. Probably not any of the other ones, though.

I'm in my first quarter at ITT in Rancho! ^_^ My Strategies teacher is very interested in NaNo and keeps asking me questions about it; she helped inspire my novel this year, actually.

Hey, there's another UCD person!

Are you going to be showing up to some of the Davis write-ins? I'd love to meet a fellow NaNoer! I'm going to try going to the ones at Crepeville at least.

I want to try and make it to some of the Sunday write-ins. As awesome as Crepeville sounds, making the write-ins during the week might be really difficult for me to do.

It's awesome to see some people from Sac State participating this year! I'm a first year attending Sac State myself, though I commute from Rocklin which is a good half an hour or so away. It'd be awesome if we could get some write-ins going there, though! :)

Good luck to everyone; college seems to be packed with homework and studying so it'll be a challenge this year, for sure!

I hail from Sierra College, Rocklin... I have no clue how I'm going to juggle everything, but I do know that I'm going to be getting behind in my online class. lol

However, I'm all gadgeted and widgeted up, with word count reminders and yWriter and everything, so maybe I'll actually win this year!

Another sophomore Aggie! Hooray! With any luck, I'll be going to some of the Davis write-ins, but I said that last year and never went to a single one.

I'm a UC Davis senior, and I have a LOT of things on my plate this quarter and probably shouldn't be writing a novel right now...but then I thought, what the heck, it makes me happy so I'm going to do this! I can juggle everything...I hope!

I've never been to a write-in, but I hope I muster up the energy to go to one this year.

Yay! More Davis people! Also, storminateacup, I'm pretty much in the same boat. I shouldn't be doing NaNoWriMo, since this quarter is particularly busy, but like you I thought, what the heck, it makes me happy. Good luck to both of you and hope to see you at some of the write-ins!
