Thanks to the suggestion at the meet up yesterday, I looked up and read about the Snowflake Method for constructing a novel. I got as far as the First Sentence, which allowed me to crystallize the premise of the (attempted) novel I am going to spew this month.

I also got to get me one of those spiffy NEO keyboards...just because.

Thanks to fluggington for putting it together. I am quite glad I went yesterday.

I'm glad you had a good time; we're looking forward to seeing more of you at future write-ins!

For those of you who weren't there, and so have no idea what he's talking about:

How To Write A Novel Using The Snowflake Method

The NEO, and its big brother (sister?), Dana. In the past, they've offered a $20 discount to NaNoWriMo participants, but I can't find any mention of it happening again this year.

I found a discount for the NEO by going to the Fun Stuff --> Special Offers on the main page of Nano. They have a link you can take to a special discount page for Nano.
