This group is for people from the Eragon roleplay Erisdar, I would ask that only members of the site Erisdar, or its predecessor Lethrblaka join in this group, but if you find yourself reading our conversations and think we're funny, witty, charming and all around fun, think about joining us, we would love to have you.

Ah Seath... and the Erisdar thread is alive again! Who started it last year? Emma? Joukai? I'm glad I have some fellow Erisdar-ians with me again this year!

I can't wait for Saturday, by day, and the majority of the night, I shall be with friends, getting yelled at for being too old to trick-or-treat, then shortly after midnight, I shall start, and then I will RULE THE WORLD!

Since when has a little thing like that stopped you? XD

Hey guys, I had a rather sudden idea that may just be the product of a sugar-high mind, but what if all of us Erisdarians had a wordcount race? Say, whoever has the highest wordcount at the end of the week will be crowned (via a title under their names on Erisdar) Wordcount Champion of Week 1! Any takers?

-dons black fedora with press card stuck in the band- It's going to be a tight race, folks! Can the Captain's gargantuan ego win out over The Flying Spaghetti Monster's sheer, determined insanity? Or will the quiet, steadfastness of Aelyn take them all by surprise? Or will the Elvorn pull off a tremendous come from behind victory in the face of insurmountable odds?

... I'M STILL WINNING.

But I don't want to! I'M ROOTING FOR YOU ALL!

Except the Cap'n. I stick my tongue out at him. His mother is a hamster and his father smells of elderberries.

That is it! That's the last time I listen to a doctor, two days of being sick, and stuck in bed and I completely lose my edge! Even Elvorn is beating me! No offense Elvie.

Okay! WRITE LIKE YOU HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON THY HANDS!!!

Aww. -patpat- I am moved by the Cap'n's show of sadness. Whatever you were sick with, I hope it's better. =P Also, Cap'n, I read your little blurb on how you were planning to write a book on children of the Greek gods, but then you had to scrap the idea when you found out about Percy Jackson. THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! TWICE!

First, I had this epic book idea founded on my own obsession for ancient mythologies, especially Egyptian, and aliens and robots and evil advanced civilizations, so I thought up a story where aliens come to earth and, rather than wasting time attacking it, pose as the old gods instead and that allows them to take over MOST parts of it. It's like our earth, except lots bigger. Then I hear about Stargate SG1 and start watching it, and it turns out that's what the main baddies are doing. >.> Then I make up a race kind of like vampires, except they're actually really scary-looking and just disguise themselves as smexy humans. And they don't drink blood, they eat people. Then I start watching the SPIN-OFF of Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, and the main baddies in THERE, frickin WRAITH, ARE THE EXACT SAME THING!!!! Except I don't think they disguise themselves as humans. BUT STILL. Now I just have a silly story about a god who gets a cap popped in his arse by his fellow gods, but since gods can't die he gets reincarnated. Which is my NaNo. =P So, Cap'n, I feel your pain.

Sorry for the overly long comment. o.O

Don't worry about it, I doubt if any of these will be published without tens of thousands of words edited out of them. I'm blatantly stealing my setting and characters from Bourne.

And Assassins Creed, don't forget that. But I don't blame you. A hidden blade attached to your arm is not only practical, it's just cool.
