Generally, write-ins happen every week unless the announcement says otherwise. Thanksgiving is the usual exception to "every week," though.
Another place to check write-ins quickly is the Regional Events calendar at the top of the main Detroit forum page. You may have to wait a little while for Google to fill in all the dates. Your friendly MLs intend to keep both the "[Write-in]" announcement postings and the calendar as accurate as possible.
The Tuesday and Saturday Westland write-ins are sponsored by the public library itself, so I imagine nothing short of a natural disaster would stop them.

Thanks :) I am wondering if many people go to the Westland meet up. I am nervous about going since I don't know anyone in the area and I am certain my husband wouldn't want to go with me. I am hoping to make one of the Westland meetups though.
