Just not sure which Starbucks is on "East Chapman," since there's one like every block or two down this street >.<
Would look forward to meeting up with some people.
I have to confess, I've been working on something of an outline and have parts all written up in my head already o.O
Cheers,
--Cindy

That's a very good point, Cindy! :) My daughter and I could probably make it as we are in the Tustin/Orange area. But yes, we need to know WHICH Starbucks on East Chapman to go to!
Meg's all excited now that she can borrow our neighbor's laptop. She's really looking forward to this. And so am I! :D

I'm hoping to be able to make the Friday night write-ins at this location. Along with the Wednesday night write-ins in Old Towne Orange. Wednesdays and Fridays will probably be the easiest nights for my husband to get our girls down to bed while I'm out writing.
November is just a few days away! I am getting so excited and hyper!

I go to school in Irvine, but I go home to Orange on the weekends a lot, and that Starbucks is only a few blocks away, so I'll probably be dropping by.
And as an aside, the Italian restaurant right next to it (Ale Roma Cucina) is great, I highly recommend it if anyone gets the munchies while they're typing. :)

Thank you synna and TrinityLast for the location links! I promise I'm not slipping as a host! Midterms! Really!
Anyhow, yes, it's at the 3630 E. Chapman Ave. Starbucks! It's nice and roomy, with lots of outlets for laptops! I hope everyone can make at least the first write-in! We've got a special guest coming!

It's been so hard this last week not to just START writing... Once the plot bunnies start reproducing, it's hard to keep them in their cage.

Oh I've been mentally writing up a storm (and outlining too)..I think I'm going to hit the ground running here.
That starbucks is also very close to Morenos restaurant, which if you like southern mexican food, is excellent, has a great ambiance, etc. Unfortunately its outdoors patio (which is the whole point of the place) is much better suited to August than November.
Anyhoo, I look forward to meeting ppl at Starbucks next friday :) This place is practically walking distance from my house, so I have no excuse for not showing up :D
I imagine some people post their stuff and others don't (esp. if you're hoping to publish, I suppose). What are you all planning to do?

Yep, across from Fred Kelly, there's a subway in the same center and a maki yaki. Yum yum. I'm not sure which night we'll be meeting here, but the location is directly across from El Modena Highschool, and it's a pretty crowded study (optional) spot for noisy students during the weekdays. I might have to throw a shoe or something if they're too distracting. (Just kidding. Kindof.)

You may not have to throw any shoes LoL TrinityLast is usually pretty vocal, and my steady stream of comments don't usually go unnoticed :D Friday nights aren't usually so bad, anyway. Last year I kept going even after NaNo, well into February or March and it wasn't bad at all...except for the one time, where there was a group...and they were raving about Twilight....::clears her throat nervously::
ANYWAY! I'm really lookin' forward to Friday! Anyone else? :D

Megan and I should be there around 7pm. I'm really tired (worked 6:30-2:30) and all I want to do is sleep, but we'll be there. Even if I do a face plant into my laptop. My 3011 words need a kick in the buttocks. :)

Ah, how could I forget your name? You even were talking about it and how people got it wrong and everything and it still flew straight out. I blame too much novel in my head—that's a good excuse in NaNo month, isn't it?
Chatty is still good, though, because it really helps to not feel like this is a lone struggle. And I got my daily total, so I'm happy with that, too.

Exactly. And this was the first alone time between two lovers, and hard to write (I get self-conscious about those parts, and think it'll sound stupid) so hitting the daily goal was a good thing. Even trickier since neither party is fully human, it being undead woman and piratical magical-android-woman, both drawn together partly by their aloneness, being (as far as they're aware, hehe!) last of their kinds. "Finally, someone who gets it!" and all that.

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to let you all know that our guest speaker, who came last week, probably won't be showing be showing up to tonight's (Friday) write-in. TrinityLast and I will still be there, though! If anyone new is coming, we can show you the plot mapping that we did last week with Claudia.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again, and any new faces who are able to make it!
EDIT 7:55am: Uhm... Forget anything I said above! Well, except for the looking forward to seeing everyone. That one still stands! LOL I just talked to Claudia, she said she'll be at the write-in tonight! HUZZAH! Can't wait to see everyone again!
