Hi. Just wondering if anyone was in and or around the Des Plaines area... I think I ask this question every year but I hope one day there will be some people. This is my third year doing nanowrimo and it would be cool to attend some write-ins this year.

I go to school in Des Plaines! I spend so much time there, it's pretty much my hometown anyways. I'm more in the Western suburbs, but I'd love to cart my laptop over for a write-in sometime this month.

I live near there. I don't even care if I use the right word or almost the right word; I just want 50,000 of them.

We should try to get together for a write-in then... Anyone have an idea where we could meet to do this?
