We have just learned that reJAVAnate is changing their hours, however they will open for us on this Sunday from 11A to 2P only, for us to write our little fingers to the bones!!!!
Since they are opening just for us, please at least try to buy something, a coffee, a drink, a snack, something. Also if you want to use their PC's you must purchase time to use them or buy at least somewhere over $5.00 (not 100% sure of amount so if it over $5, I'm sorry)
Please try to let us know if you are planning on coming on Sunday, also remember they will not be opened until 11A....

thank you everyone for pitching in on this event. reJAVAnate has always been good to us and we should try to give back to them. Also, if you happen to be over by that side of town, and have a few minutes, stop in for a coffee if possible. We don't want to loose another great local place. We are down two already that have been great to us!!!
Let's work to keep reJAVAnate open. I might even try to go by early before work at least once I figure out my job completely, so not this week coming up but maybe the second week of nano!!!

I would like to thank everyone again, who is planning on coming today, our goal, beside insane word counts, is to help a great local place stay open. reJAVAnate has been great to us in the past, let's make sure we don't loose another place due to the ecomony.... we lost the Elysium and Cheesecake and Crime, both who opened their doors and hearts to us. Along with Laura I want to thank everyone who plans on coming today. I visit ReJavaNate throughout the year and love the place. I am one of many who do not want to see it close.
So, you will see me posting often that I am just randomly showing up there to write. So if you do not want to write at home and just need to get out I recommend ReJavaNate.
They have always welcomed us and gone the extra mile for our group.
Let's help keep them open for business and get our word counts up there!
We are actually heading there now though they will not be open until 11. There are tables outside and its a beautiful day so if anyone wants to get some socializing in before writing. We will be there in about fifteen minutes.

My knitting group used to meet there once a week but we all kind of scattered last year so I haven't been there in a long time. I do love their chai though! They have a great vibe over there.

So I'm pretty miffed right now.
Google maps failed me. I got lost, couldn't find the place (even though I went there for the first meet aaaaahggh) and ended up just driving aimlessly around forever since my phone died and I couldn't call anyone for directions. So angry right now. Very much not a good omen for the first day. Hopefully I'll be able to write a bit at work.
