Wrimos in Great Falls can contact me, this will be my third year. I'll start writing Sunday at Starbucks sometime, Maybe 11:00, maybe 2:00. Or I might procrastinate and play WoW all day. But I will try and be there around noonish. If there is anyone in Great Falls let me know and I will probably set down a more solid plan. Thanks.

There is a group of us at CMR--13 students and 4 staff--who are doing mostly school based write in stuff. I may try to organize outside get togethers a couple of weekends, but I'm not sure. Good to know there are some people outside of the school island though!

Glad to hear about your CMR group! Have fun with it! There are five of us in Great Falls who are doing Nanowrimo again this year, all of us past winners. It's a ridiculous and crazy way to ride through November but well worth the effort. Good luck in the crosstown game tonight!

Wow i'm glad there are so many in Great Falls! I figured i'd have to travel to Billings or Missoula to meet up with anyone.

I would have loved to have this opportunity in HS. Of course when I was in HS there were no computers...

Computers? I am doing my challenge by hand this year. Although I may not win again just due to fatigue, having a notebook full of words is rather rewarding. And it is a guarantee that when I re-write it next month I will have double the words just by typeing/editiing it.
But I will be at Starbucks at 11am Sunday. I will be the one writing with a pen and notebook. I'll probably have a co-worker or two there poking fun at me.

*Waves*
Is Starbucks big enough to hold everyone? I've never been inside, just cruise through the drive-thru. Can't guarantee I'll make it, but can try. I have a red mini-laptop, about the size of two paperbacks side by side. So, if you see me, say hi.

Happy Halloween.

It is where I forgot about meeting last year with the dude that was writing in great falls. I have a cell phone with a cool scheduling feature now so I promise not to forget. Not wanting to go and flat out denial is still in the question though.

I wouldn't mind meeting some people for a write-in. I did it last year for Nano and it was pretty fun. Hope to hear some more enthusiasm from the locals. Great to hear about the CMR group. Shade, maybe I'll stop by Starbucks and join you this Sunday? (Gosh, that's tomorrow!)

I'm not going to make it to Starbucks today. Five hours of sleep last night means I don't trust my driving. On the plus side, I broke 2,000 words, and the first day isn't over yet. :)

Hi Everyone!

I'm excited to start! I actually stayed up until Midnight last night and had today's goal done by 3am. WHOOT! I may be sleep deprived but I'll win again this year!!!!

I have kind of a crazy schedule as I am working on my Masters and often have papers due every Monday, although after the daily goal for this, a 700 page paper is a breeze!!!

Keep me updated with possible meeting times/dates. I'd like to try and make some if I can. The other 2 years I participated, I didn't even think to look if there was anyone else in the area and I'm excited that I looked this year.

Congrats CMR! I wish they had done something like that when I was in high school!

One more thing...if anyone would like to be able to chat while working, let me know. I have AIM, MSN and yahoo. I wouldn't mind being able to chat to someone while working....

I think I met a couple of you last year. I would be up for meeting this week though. What is the best day and time for you guys? I say that we start off our second write in with some coffee and word wars.

I work 9-6 tues-Sat....so as long as meetings don't fall into that time frame, I'll go.

On days that I work I'll probably be at the Daily Grind downtown working on the story during my lunch break around 1pm

I'm fine with the daily grind. I could go in the afternoon, unless you have a different time in mind? I think the daily grind has more room, unless you can think of a better place?

Is the Daily Grind on 10th? I only ever hit Starbucks, or occasionally the one in the mall.

Well...I just mentioned the Daily Grind because I work at NEW so I'm going to be there pretty much everyday for my lunch break at 1 so I can get some writing done. If anyone wants to join me, you're more than welcome. I know that is sort of a weird time for anyone to try and make it.

Otherwise, Starbucks, Hastings or anywhere like that on weekends or evenings, I'd be happy to meet there too!

I don't believe DG has internet but I can write without it.

Apryl,

I also just remembered that I think I have a meeting tomorrow at 1 (Tuesday the 3rd) so I will probably be there at noon. Every other day it'll be 1. Just thought I should add that just in case you were thinking about going tomorrow...

I'm in GF, too. Let me know when and where, and I'll try to be there.

Daily Grind does have internet. I've used my computer there before. We can meet Thursday and Sunday? That would give us some pretty good write ins. I can meet you at the Daily Grind at 1 on Thursday.

For anyone else...I would like to make a group meeting for Sunday at 1 at the Daily Grind. It's got internet and great coffee and there is a back room, where we can sit away from the usual crowd.

If this doesn't work for anyone, let me know? I think write in's really help for encouragement.

On another note, I also play WOW. What server are you on? I'm on The Underbog with my level 80 Pallie. I probably sound weird.

Sounds good I will see you there on Thursday.

However, they are closed on Sundays...maybe Sunday we can do Hastings or Starbucks? I know Hastings has a bigger area that may not be as crowded. But we can also figure that our Thursday.

see you there!

If it's Ok with the others, I can meet at 3 too. As for Sunday, we could meet at Hastings at 1. It's better than Starbucks, room wise. Let me know if that's Ok.

1pm @ hastings Sunday 8 Nov
Great Falls Word War.

Sorry about me not being at Starbucks last sunday. I explained away all the things that could and could not happen so I could be there. What got in my way was along the lines of things that were impossible to happen. So I did not plan for it. I will put this one in my phone and hopefully get started soon. Late start, Nov 4 and my word count is still 0. I'll catch up, I swear.

Hey, how do I recognize you at Daily Grind tomorrow? I'll be coming in with a laptop and I'll have red hair lol

Short notice on asking that...but I didn't think of it yesterday.

Got a blue dell laptop and a khaki cord bag. Today I'm also wearing a grey and maroon "university of phoenix" sweatshirt... The last 2 days I've been the only one with a computer.

I also sent you a private message last night with email and phone number. Should be in there right abut 3, give or take a few mins

Hi everyone,

we were talking and thinking that 1pm on Sunday might be sort of a hard time to make. Would 7:30 or 8 be better for others? Maybe 4pm?

I could be down there early and plan on writing as much of the day as I can. I might migrate around through but I will try and be at hastings at 8, 1 and 4. Although I probably wont stay long at 4 if I this plan goes through, will be tired.
