Storing lots'a bottled water in the fridge as it looks like we're having a heat wave. Stocking the fridge and freezer today with simple quick and easy food stuffs.

I'm going to have a nana nap this arvo so I can be up at midnight. (Works for me as I have a nightshift tomorrow night anyway.)

I've bought index cards, a corkboard and pins to pin maps and character profiles to, a 4 pack of 500ml Vs. I bought a new Mac a few weeks ago, plus software and Scrivener. Soy hippie snack things, Tim Tams, celery.

And my partner will buy me a bottle of gin when I hit 25,000 words. And a friend will buy me a bag of choc-coated coffee beans every 10,000 words.

Oh and leaflets and such to raise money for same-sex marriage.

Last summer I made avocado chocolate mouse. After throwing avocados in the blender, melt chocolate into it. I put those little candy coated chocolate pebbles on top and stick it in the freezer. It's a nice gluten-free dairy-free less guilt version of icecream/mousse.

I should really put this in the recipe section.

There's also an amazing raw food cake which I've never made but have eaten. It has a base of crushed nuts, sliced fruit in the middle and avocado chocolate mousse on the top.

My other current favourite snack is Toffutti Better than Cream Cheese with sundried tomatoes on corn cakes or gluten-free crackers. I will probably be eating that too. :-)

Ecco, Milo, coffee, tea, sugar, orange juice. I'm thinking about making my character get drunk and write that chapter whilst trashed too. So I'm set for beverages.

As for food, I dunno. I don't usually eat much whilst in front of a computer, and I'm trying to lose a couple of kilos at the moment, so I'll stick to the fruit, probably. Although it's fairly well known amongst my friends that I have a serious addiction to bakery goods.

I've been drinking a lot of tea, and listening to the Beatles almost non-stop. They fuel the creative juices quite nicely, those lads.

Currently...green tea, two fruits and monte carlo biscuits.

I think I need to lay in some healthy snacks or I'm going to end up on sugar highs.

*sigh* I was going to look after my nutrition this year, but I've been bad. Real bad. It all started when I got writer's block. I had to do an emergency servo run and it's all caved in from there. Now I have consumed so far this month:

One packet of Tim Tams (it was my dinner last night AND my breakfast today! ;-) )
One energy shot
Three energy drinks
Chocolate slice from Gopals
Countless cups of tea
Two mars bars

Current reserves:
Two more energy shots
Hot chocolate
Tequila (responsible for my excellent run this evening)

Um... and this is mainly for weekends...
Coke (lots of)
Chocolate (good quality only)
waterlemon (seedless)
Coke
crackers from the Nutshack
Reese's Pieces
Coke
Candy Corn Jelly Bellies
Vodka mudshakes (for emergencies, or Saturday nights, whichever comes first)
Coke
Plenty of instrumental music to choose from to block out the sound of my 13 yr old nephew having a tantrum because the parental control on the computer has blocked him from Myspace and Facebook.
Did I mention Coke...???

I'm stocking up on V and making big jugs of iced fruit tea for week 2. Just checked the weather and it looks like things are going to be heating up.

I'm favouring coffee, when I'm, ahem, actually writing instead of procrastinating like mad, which horrible habit really has to end soon.

Ooh, and did you all notice? TIM TAMS GOT A MENTION IN TODAY'S BREAKING NEWS!!!* Woot! I heart Tim Tams - I haven't let myself buy any so far - they disappear awfully quickly because I always do the Tim Tam Slam with my coffee...

*yes, that seriously did have to be in all caps...

Every 500 words I let myself have a gingernut biscuit and a cup of hot chocolate/cool drink. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm trying to drop a couple of kilos, and can't really go on the hardcore writing incentives.
