Last night at the map and mingle, we got this idea from Rabbit5 who wrimoed in Seattle last year. The Seattle wrimos bring rubber duckies to whatever cafe they're writing in to identify themselves. We thought it'd be neat for us East Bayers to do something similar...so we came up with toy mice.
Feel free to adopt the same habit...the mouse can be of any color. They're easy to get at pet stores, or if you have a cat, wrest it from your little one's claws.

Is this idea still going? I didn't see anyone with toy mice at Caffe Trieste Tuesday night...

The people I've been writing with tend to instead use NaNo signs/stickers to identify each other, or put out the little glow-in-the-dark aliens that mwalker and I have been handing out at the write-ins this first week since we're working with a space theme for all the achievement stickers.
