Six hours forty-four minutes!

I am! I always start at midnight, it's like... tradition, now XD I have a bottle of coke, several packets of rice crackers, and some jelly beans for additional sugar.

(It's also my brother's 21st today, and with his loud drunken engineering student friends, I doubt I'd be getting to bed before midnight anyway XD)

Haha, starting at midnight sounds tempting, but I think I'll settle for tomorrow morning. Tonight I want to finalise my outline, and finish off a few job applications (so they won't be a distraction for me later).

I'll be starting at midnight! As previously stated by second poster, it has become like a tradition now!

Plus, this is a NaNo custom made for the midnight start! Saturday!

Most people don't have to get up for work... I dunno, Saturday seems like the right night to start NaNo on...

Me, I think. I'm sort of too sick to sleep at the moment, so I might as well be semi-productive.

Plus, it's my first year, so I want to kick off just as the clock ticks over! I've got plenty of writing snacks, a comfortable set up and tonnes of motivation to pull me through at least a couple thousand words.

Can't wait!

Since my first nano I've always started at midnight, come hell or high water.

(Three hours, fifty four minutes!)

I'm so excited and nervous at the same time!

I have a Pony Club competition in the morning, so I really shouldn't... but what the heck. I will! If I write for an hour and go to sleep at one o'clock, I should be able to get a good headstart and still get six hours of sleep. Meh, I'll survive. After all, that's what coffee was made for, right?

2 hours and 14 minutes!

I'll be starting at midnight too. I've had a big weekend so far (including rock concerts and scuba diving within 24 hours!) and am completely knackered, though, so we'll see how far I get before I fall asleep and start drooling on my keyboard.

I've used up all of my excited nervousness quota for the evening and have already crossed the line into ti~ired. Even if I write only one paragraph, I will stay up past midnight to write!

45 long, sleepy minutes to go.
