Last year, we met every Saturday morning in November at Starbucks, AmCorp Mall to write. We really did. I remember there was one write-in where we had 2 actual writing sessions. We set a time - I think it was 30 minutes - of no talking, no surfing, just writing, and it really worked! Everyone fell quiet and wrote.
At yesterday's kick-off party, those present agreed to having this year's weekly write-ins at the Old Town White Coffee outlet near Bangsar LRT. For those driving, there's an open-air car park behind the building (you turn in at the first left immediately after the Bangsar LRT drop-off, it's after a short row of shops, take the first left, follow the road, and keep an eye out on the left for the entrance to the car park). Alternatively, there's parking in the basement of the building.
For those of us present at yesterday's party, remember we were asked to move to a room which was quieter so we won't disturb the other customers? Well, I saw the room - it's like a private area with booth seating (this features in my fic NaNo!!) and regular round tables. I think we should hold our write-ins there - cosy and away from the main crowd.
So, in summary, here are the details of this year's weekly write-ins:

Time: from 10:30 a.m.
Dates: every Saturday in November 2009

Now I'm lost and unlikely to attend today's write-in after searching for the exact location. It appears that the Old Town below the Bangsar LRT station is not the place. And I don't know how should I exactly get there. Can I get precise directions so that I can get there next time?

Why do you say it is not the place? Did you walk in to look around?
It is the place. Five of us were there. I arrived at around 10:40 a.m., followed by glendalarke, then Dawn.Fire.Angel and her mother arrived. Later, eaglewing joined us, and later Calvin, too. glendalarke and I left around 2:30 p.m. I don't know if anyone else showed up, and what time the write-in continued until.

When I was able to get to that place, it was around 12-1pm (I forget the time because I was quite frantic and anxious at that time). I didn't see a bunch of people with laptops and I asked the staff whether they see people with laptops and she said no. Then, I wander around the place and see nothing as you said as a bunch of people using laptops. But never mind, there's still two more write-in's, isn't it? Sorry for all the misunderstanding, confusion and whatever it is. Of course, I'll come and you can recognize me by a yellowish milk bag with black back side.
P/S: That place is near "Universiti" LRT station, not "Bangsar" LRT staion, and I had to walk up a bunch of stairs before I see the sign. Still, I'm still sorry about what happened today.

I think I need to know how exactly should I go, since that I do have trouble in understanding these things.

I guess I have to wear my big spectacle so that I am more recognizable (thanks to that thing my friends can identify me easily during my matriculation and university days). Maybe I'll print a NaNoWriMo flyer and put it on a desk when I'm inside that place. I guess I need to buy a spare battery so that I can have more time to write (you can't expect there are electrical ports inside such a place, isn't it?).

Once I stepped out from the LRT, exit through the right, which I'll see a shop. Then, I went down through the escalators and I'll see the place at my right. Am I correct? I admit that I missed it again.
