Any writers in Staunton interested in getting together to write and celebrate weekly milestones? I'd be happy to organize.
Happy writing,
blueridgemuse

There are at least 2 of us! :-) Have you heard from anybody else?

You are the first---interested in some scheduled writing times during the week or Saturday evening celebratory libations?

Hey there!
Just wanted to let you know, there are weekly write-ins at BAM in Waynesboro, on Monday nights and Saturday afternoons.
Mondays - 7 PM
Saturdays - 2 PM
Books A Million is located off of Exit 94 on I-64, in the Target shopping center. We usually gather in the cafe, laptops running, and hot drinks in hand!
We would love for you all to join us!

Hi Nonny Mouse:
Thanks for the invitation. We'll let you know if we organize anything in Staunton to which you would all be welcome as well.
Happy writing,

I am part of Nonny Mouse's group. If I go to Staunton I need really good driving instructions because I usually get lost! hahahha . Please keep in touch and you and your group are welcome anytime with us. Good writing. radcat

Absolutely! Do you usually write anyplace other than your house? Where do you like to, you know, libate? :-)

I was thinking of writing in one of the coffee places downtown for a change of pace. The library doesn't really seem to have any nice areas to write. How about you?
I tend to go to the bar at Zynodoa but I am open to any suggestion for a Saturday celebration on hitting the week one goal.
I thought I'd check out the Books-A-Million gathering tonight. Maybe I'll see you there?

Oops! Looks like I missed BAM tonight. :-p Maybe next time.
I haven't experimented much with writing outside the house. Seems like it would be hard to concentrate. But I can already tell I'm going to have to mix this up some or it's going to turn into more of a nap-a-thon. I agree about the library - uncomfortable chairs and no drinks allowed - phooey. Maybe Blue Mountain?
I'm working full-time this week, but by next week will be more NaNoWriMo focused.

I missed BAM Monday night, too, because of work. Next week I will be there though, because I can schedule my own hours, so I will schedule around the write-in.
Are any of you Staunton writers going to Harrisonburg for the combined get-together this Saturday? I'm thinking about going, so I can meet our MLs and see the other writers that are somewhat close by.
Good luck on your novels! Be sure to post where and when you all are getting together, so we can come join you, if schedules permit.

Oops! Sorry... Harrisonburg write-in is on the 14th. Still plan on going to that, though.

I might be interested in going to the Harrisonburg write in crossover on the 14th. I also like the idea the blueridgemuse had about going out on a Saturday night. But where would we go and and who would allow us to come in as a group? I am off Friday and Saturday nights. I just need good instructions for where ever we go. Let me know. radcat38

Me too! I have a performance this weekend, but then I'd be up for writing meetings.
