I know a group meets over by Colorado Mills. I'm a lot closer to the Belmar area and was wondering if anyone else in this general vicinity that wants to get together some time. Or, even better, if you're near the Bear Creek area.

I dunno how much time I'll have (work is ratcheting up to 5+ extra hours/week the rest of the year, plus needing time to write) but if enough other people are game I'd be down for something near Belmar, since I live really close now (having just moved from aurora a month ago).

I work like 5 minutes away from Belmar. If there were something going on like, right after work (school-- done at 3:30, m-f) I might be able to make it.

I live in the same area. We could meet at the Starbucks across the street from Belmar? I wouldn't be able to get there until 4:30-4:45ish, but that would work for me.
Unfortunately the closest bookstore to that area is either downtown (pay for parking, yay!) or Colorado Mills.

I'm near Belmar as well. There's an Atlanta Bread down there, near the Coldstone if I recall correctly. We could meet there. And eat delicious soup in bread bowls and get fat XD

Anything around 4 would work for me, any day of the week. I can adjust my going to the barn schedule to work around what ever works for y'all.

Fred:

That sounds perfect. The address for that Atlanta Bread Company is:
Lakewood City Commons
7740 West Alameda Avenue
Unit E
Lakewood, Colorado 80226

It's in the North-West corner of the Alameda/Wadsworth interchange. BelMar is the South-East corner, so directly opposite.

I vote for Thursdays at 4:30 (or you early birds can do 4, but I won't be there til 4:30).

I live near Bear Creek (moved to Morrison from Lakewood) but I still meet up with the Borders group. However, if you ever want to meet up on a non-Saturday, let me know! I'd love to have more write ins this year!

I could be there after 5 on Thursdays! But I could only stay for about an hour because The Office is on that night and my husband and I watch the shows on Thursdays.

Claire

P.S. Is that the Atlanta Bread Company by Noodles & Co and Verizon Wireless and Johnny Carinos?

Earliest I can do is 5:15ish or so, and that's assuming I get up early since I'm expected to put in long days for the month +. However the Lakewood commons works for me as I can walk to it <_<.

I'm in for the Atlanta bread company. It's much closer than other write ins. 5 is the earliest for me, Thursday if fine, as well as tuesday.

How about in the Atlanta Bread Company on the southwest corner across from Belmar? What day works best for you?

Cool beans! Would love some non-Saturday meetings, esp during daytime while kid is still at school or daycare.

Should we plan on this Thursday at 4 at Atlanta Bread Company?

Perhaps we could alternate or do two times for those who can come earlier and those later. I'd also be open to a Saturday or Sunday there since it's a lot closer for me as well.

Perhaps we could do 12 on Sundays? and we can eat lunch before settling down to write.

We could do Thursdays as well, and meet at 4:30 so those who can only make it after 5 can still make it. Some of us can just be early birds.

And whoever it was that asked if the Belmar Atlanta was by Noodles, yes it is. It's also by Coldstone. Which came to mind first to me because Coldstone is the most delicious ice cream on earth. Second only to this creamery place out in Peoria, Illinois. Which has the best ice cream in the universe. And I'm babbling. Shutting up now.

Let's plan on this Thursday at 4, and others can come as they are able. I will have to leave at about 5:15, but it sounds like some will arrive close to that time and staying longer.

My photo is on my profile so you can recognize me. I have a black HP laptop and will be wearing my work ID badge which is on a dark blue lanyard and says Agape Hospice on it. You can also reach me on my BlackBerry by sending an email to talon@windwalkerstudio.com if you need help finding me or the place.

Looking forward to meeting some local NaNos!

Hi all! I'll go ahead and add this to the calendar for you for Thursdays, 4-7 PM, the Atlanta Bread Company by Belmar.

Let me know if you set one up on the weekends and I'll add that, too.

Haven't read every single post in this thread, but .... any chance you guys could call yourselves "Belmar NaNos"?

Just to avoid confusion with the Lakewood NaNos who meet at Colorado Mills. (We've been calling ourselves that for 5-6 yrs -- kinda hard to change.) So we don't have scheduling conflicts and stuff.

Colorado Mills is closer to the foothills than Lakewood. ;) No reason why you guys couldn't jog a mile or two to come hang out with us occasionally, though. I don't see why we can't call ourselves Belmar.

But, but
Colorado Mills is in Golden, not Lakewood. ;)

I'm in Lakewood near Belmar (just east of it). I've been getting up extra early and writing in the mornings but would love to get together with folks nearby. Weekends are best for me for meeting up - or an early morning coffee shop. Can't make Thurs night. Have fun.

New rule, no Atlanta Bread Company on Thursdays. Live Country Music is not conducive to writing.

Sooo, there's a Starbucks on Wadsworth at 1st I think? Might be 3rd. It's a stand-alone. let's do next Friday, 4-7p there?

Also, I heard someone vote for noon (I can do noon too) on Saturday. In that case Atlanta Bread Co is OK.

Do you want me to delete the other Thursday write-ins that were scheduled? And should I add the Friday one to recur every week including this week? And is your Saturday one definite? *goes back to lurking*
