Just finished the first bit - 1,819 words. I find the forst few chapters generally easy to do. I'm sure it will get harder.

Congratulations! :D

I have done my first few words - just over 3,600 - but it was hard and i don't think i can do that every day!
Still, you never know what you can do until you try.
Good luck to you and all other NaNoers who are reading this

I'm happy with my progress so far, only a couple of thousand words in, and god knows it needs editing but I'm trying to fight the urge! I'm in the character introduction stage really at the moment, trying to give a vague clue as to the state of their relationships.

I also knocked out a thousand words yesterday for a family bio that my brother is writing, so that took me away from my NaNo work for a while. Now if only there was a way to work that into my novel...... ;)

Woot! I love Nano .... half-way to my mini-goal for this week, and I'm flying.

How's everyone else going?

Woot this is good, im doing ok so far! Really trying my hardest to get 1,500 words done a day! Tis hard work, but i find that as im writing more, im getting more into the plot and my two main characters stories and their history. Its starting to flow more! I think that once you get going, its kind of hard to stop! I aim to get to at least 4,000ish today! :)

How's it going one week in?

I find it difficult to believe that i've sat down every day to write at least the minimum number of words!
Not sure how i did it today cos i hit a bit of a block...but various people have been very helpful with suggestions as to what i could try.
